1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using youroutboard.com and purchasing products from Outboard-Depot ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

2. About Us
Outboard Depot specialises in supplying brand-new outboard motors from leading manufacturers such as Mercury, Yamaha and Honda. We offer engines ranging from small portable models to high-performance outboards, with competitive pricing and delivery throughout the United Kingdom, including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to make a purchase. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

4. Product Information
  • All motors sold are brand new and unused
  • Products are sourced from authorized distributors and suppliers
  • We offer a wide range of outboard motors (various horsepower options)

5. Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP).

Prices include applicable taxes where required unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time prior to order confirmation. The price displayed at checkout and confirmed in your order confirmation is the final price payable for that order.

6. Orders & Payment

7. Shipping & Delivery
  • We provide delivery throughout the United Kingdom.
  • Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed. Orders are shipped using trusted third-party carriers and freight providers.
  • Responsibility for the goods remains with us until the products have been delivered to the delivery address specified in your order.
  • Upon delivery, customers should inspect the goods and notify us as soon as reasonably possible of any visible damage, shortages or delivery issues.

8. Warranty
All outboard motors sold by Outboard Depot are supplied with the manufacturer's standard warranty, details of which are provided by the relevant manufacturer.

Warranty claims may be subject to the manufacturer's warranty procedures and requirements. Where reasonably possible, we may assist customers in identifying the appropriate warranty process, however the scope and terms of any manufacturer's warranty remain the responsibility of the manufacturer.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including your rights relating to goods that are faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality.

Warranty coverage may be affected if a product has been improperly installed, modified, neglected, damaged, or used contrary to the manufacturer's instructions.

9. Returns & Refunds
9.1 Consumer Cancellation Rights
If you are a consumer purchasing online, you may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To exercise this right, you must notify us of your decision to cancel within the applicable cancellation period.

Where a valid cancellation right is exercised, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after informing us of your decision to cancel.

We may make deductions from any refund for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

9.2 Voluntary Returns Policy
In addition to any statutory rights, we may accept returns within 30 days of delivery for products that:
  • are unused and uninstalled;
  • remain in their original packaging;
  • are returned in a resaleable condition.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the goods are faulty, damaged on arrival, or supplied incorrectly.

9.3 Faulty or Incorrect Goods
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights. If goods are faulty, damaged, not as described, or otherwise do not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, refund, or other remedies under applicable law.

9.4 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will normally be processed within 5 to 10 business days after the returned goods have been received and inspected.

  • Recommendations are based on general input and do not guarantee compatibility
  • You are responsible for verifying that the selected motor is suitable for your vessel

11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for:
  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • breach of rights granted under applicable consumer protection legislation; or
  • any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Subject to the above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:
  • we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses;
  • we shall not be liable for losses arising from improper installation, misuse, modification, neglect, or operation contrary to the manufacturer's instructions;
  • our total aggregate liability arising from any order shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the relevant product.

12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Outboard Depot from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of the website, violation of these Terms, or misuse of products.

13. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, images, branding, and tools, is owned by or licensed to Outboard Depot. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.

14. Third-Party Brands
All product names, logos, and brands are the property of their respective owners. Outboard Depot acts as a reseller and is not directly affiliated with manufacturers beyond standard distribution relationships.

15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

16. Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint or dispute, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the matter promptly and amicably.

If a dispute cannot be resolved through informal discussions, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
